The Legislative Program supports the VFW Priority Goals, which reflect the resolutions passed by the VFW to strengthen and ensure an adequate VA system for millions of current and future veterans. The program also promotes the VFW Action Corps and encourages all citizens to exercise their right to vote and contact legislators regarding issues impacting veterans and their families.
The Legislative Program includes: Priority goals; VFW Action Corps Weekly; Voter Registration; Get Out the Vote; Checkpoint Newsletter; Media Promotions; Legislative involvement; Legislative Alert Activities; Member and Community Educational Activities; and Legislative Contact Activities (personal letters, emails, faxes, phone calls).
